Shop the Sustainable For All Mankind label and know that it is crafted from sustainable or recycled materials including cotton sources through the Better Cotton Initiative.

Abercrombie & Fitch

Take advantage of Abercrombie & Fitch’s partnership with thredUp, the world’s largest fashion resale marketplace.  Send in your gently used items to be re-commerced and earn gift cards for use at A&F, Abercrombie kids, Hollister and Gilly Hicks.


Shop adidas Primeblue products made with Parley Ocean Plastic materials made with recycled plastic waste from beaches and coastal regions.  adidas will use more than 60% recycled polyester in its products in 2021 and will use recycled polyester exclusively by 2024.

Shop the Real Good label and know that these products are the most sustainable items in the Aerie collection and are manufactured in compliance with AEO’s Water Leadership Program. In-store bra recycling is currently on hold due to COVID-19.

AG Jeans

AG recently launched two state-of-the art water filtrations systems in their factories that save over 100,000 gallons of water per day and are committed to supporting Boxed Water to help reduce their plastic footprint.


Shop the ALDO Love Planet collection of sustainable shoes and accessories.  No plastic bags here, ALDO redesigned their shoe boxes with handles to give plastic bags the slip.

Allen Edmonds

Shop Allen Edmonds recraftable collection and have your shoes reconditioned instead of replaced.  The program has saved over 500,000 pairs of shoes from landfills over the last ten years!

American Eagle Outfitters

Shop the Real Good label and know that these products are the most sustainable items in the AEO collection and are manufactured in compliance with AEO’s Water Leadership Program. In-store denim recycling is currently on hold due to COVID-19.


Apple will buy back or recycle old Apple devices in store. Items are thoroughly inspected, and components are either reused or recycled in an environmentally responsible way.


The first beauty company manufacturing with 100% wind power, shop Aveda’s selection of all-vegan, naturally derived and/or organic products, packaged using a minimum of 80% post-consumer recycled packaging.

A leader on the Dow Jones Sustainability Index for the fifth year in a row by making strides to source more sustainable textiles, 89% of Burberry products have at least one attribute relating to social and/or environmental changes.

As a part of their commitment to the Fashion Industry Charter for Climate Action and the Global Fashion Pact, Chanel is committed to reducing their carbon footprint by 50% by 2030 and shift to 100% renewable energy by 2025.


A portion of the Chico’s Travelers® product line are made with Eastman’s Naia™ celluslosic fiber made with sustainably sourced wood. And of course, the Chico’s® brand has featured linen, a highly biodegradable fabric derived from flax, in its product lines for many years.


Extend the life of your favorite bag with complimentary leather care in-store by appointment, repair service, and customization in select stores.

Cotton On

Is set to achieve 100% sustainable cotton through their supply chain in 2021!  They are improving sustainable operations in stores, logistics, & distribution.  Bring your own bag with you, they discontinued all single-use plastic bags in 2019.

Crate & Barrel

Select from over 50 furniture pieces in eco-friendly in eco-friendly upholstery.  They have the largest LLED GOLD certified distribution center in the United States.  Their famous black and white boxes and bags are made with renewable fiber that contains post-consumer recyclable material.


While Disney works to achieve net-zero greenhouse gas emissions for all direct operations by 2030, the Walt Disney Company has donated more than $1.5 million to non-profit organizations through the Disney Conservation Fund.

Eddie Bauer

Look for products using sustainable fiber Seawool, created from reclaimed oyster and bottle fibers in some performance styles.  Eddie Bauer partners with bluesign (safe textile production), Canopy Style Initiative, American Forest, and Good 360.

Foot Locker

A retail partner of Soles4Souls a non-profit distributes new and used shoes to those in need. Look for periodic donation drives to keep shoes out of landfills and do good all at the same time!  In store, look for sustainable options from adidas using Parley Ocean Plastic, Nike products featuring the pinwheel logo.

Fossil Group

The design team at Fossil aims to create beautiful pieces with longevity in mind. Fossil’s refurbishment process gives old products new life.  A global product takeback program is under development.

Free People

Shop ECONYL® the new sustainable activewear line featuring an innovative yard that uses 100% regenerated nylon fiber made of discarded waste.


GameStop’s trade-in program takes in software (CDs) and electronic devices and accessories that are otherwise destined for landfills and either refurbish or recycle them. In 2018 alone, GameStop refurbished over 5 million pieces of software (CDs) and over 3 million consumer electronic devices and recycled over 2.7 million pounds of e-waste.

Gap Inc. 

Send your used Gap, Banana Republic, or Old Navy merchandise to thredUp and earn credit to be used at any Gap Inc. brand.  Gap Inc. is a member of the Fashion Industry Charter for Climate Action, the Global Fashion Pact, and Ellen MacArthur Make Fashion Circular organizations dedicated to revolutionizing the fashion industry.


Look for the green tag to shop the new Conscious Collection made with at least 50% sustainable materials, such as organic cotton and recycled polyester.  While the in-store recycling program is on hold, a ground-breaking in store circularity machine called Looop is being tested in Stockholm. Looop shreds old garments into new ones in five hours.  (note: Instagram video is impressive!)

Johnston & Murphy

Bring in your gently used adult or child shoes and their partner Soles4Souls will donate them to those in need.


Recycle and be rewarded when you return your empty Kiehl’s bottles to a retail store. Earn a point for each empty bottle and redeem ten points for a free travel size product!  Since 2009, this program has recycled over 11 million empty jars and bottles.


Recycle beauty and skin care products including tubes, bottles, pumps, refill pouches, face mask packaging, trigger heads, and dispensers through a partnership with TerraCycle and receive a 10% off coupon.


Committed to making all core LEGO products from sustainable materials by 2030. When you are done with your old LEGOS, send them to be cleaned and donated through the LEGO Replay program.


Donate gently used eyewear to help another person in the world see more clearly through the OneSight program - a family of charitable vision care programs dedicated to improving vision through outreach, research and education.


Trade in your Levi’s jeans and Trucker Jackets in good condition for store credit, unwearable items are donated.  Shop the new sustainable line, WellThread, designed with recycled materials.


A member of the Fashion Industry Charter for Climate Action and Better Cotton Initiative will achieve 100% renewable electricity for owned and operated facilities this year. Free fitness classes are expected to resume post pandemic.


For every five black pots you bring back to your local Lush store receive a free fresh face mask. The black pots are then cleaned thoroughly and ground into pellets, before being heated and remolded back into black pots for future use.


Return six empty M.A.C makeup containers to participating locations and receive a standard MAC lipstick.  M.A.C Lover loyalists may choose a standard lipstick, lipglass or small eye shadow.


Stop by one of Madewell's stores with your pre-loved pairs (from any brand: the bootcuts from high school, the baggy ones from your skater days, the bright red skinnies from who knows when). Their friends from Cotton’s Blue Jeans Go Green™ program will turn them into housing insulation for communities in need—and Madewell will give you $20 off new ones.


The Reuse-A-Shoe program recycles athletic shoes at the end of their life, giving them new life through Nike Grind.  Athletic sneakers only, program may be on pause at certain locations.


Recycle beauty product packaging in store by dropping your empty personal care bottles, tubes, caps, dispensers, tubs and more in the BEAUTYCYCLE collection bins.


#BraItForward with Soma! Donate new or gently worn bras in Soma boutiques July 9 - August 6, and save $10 on one full priced bra, or $20 on two full priced bras. Nearly 2 million bras have been collected since 2010, thanks to your generous donations.


In-store recycling and composting available for all Starbucks packing engineered to avoid the landfill.  Participating locations offer spent coffee grounds for gardening at no charge.


Drop off your clean, gently used UNIQLO items in the RE.UNIQLO boxes located in store, UNIQLO will sort and recycle or donate clothing to refugees and displaces persons all over the world.
