Position Overview:
Position Overview:
Drives store revenue through proper shipment processing and merchandisecontrol. Assists Leadership Team in organizing and maintaining the stock room,including back stock of merchandise, shipment and supplies. Supports store teamin providing exceptional client service by helping where needed and keeping theselling floor, stock room, and desk replenished, organized, neat and clean.
Primary Responsibilities / Accountabilities:

Additional responsibilitiesas assigned by the Store Manager, Co-Manager, and Sales Leads
Revenue Generation:
Ensure new product is on thefloor and available to clients within 24 hours of receipt
Processes merchandise intoand out of stock room without error
Protects company assets byfollowing all Loss Prevention standards in the processing of shipment,transfer of product and maintenance of the back room organization
Completes prices changeswithin Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) time frame

Provides excellent clientservice by anticipating the client’s needs, exceeding expectations, andadhering to the ANN INC. service standards
Portrays a gracious,friendly, energetic and engaging manner and is at all times respectful andprofessional

Meets Company/Divisionalmerchandise processing expectations through time management, organizationand adherence to ANN INC. Standard Operating Procedures
Maintains a clean, safe storeenvironment and back room organization by processing receipts andtransfers efficiently, organizing merchandise by product category, and executingtrnasfers, markdowns, Mark out of Stock (MOS), Distributed OrderMaintenance (DOM), and Style Finder orders
Completes opening/closingprocedures and tasks as directed by Leadership Team with a client focus(e.g. replenishing merchandise; recovering the store and styling rooms;processing shipment including but not limited to: unpacking, hanging,steaming, cleaning including but not limited to: dusting, vacuuming, andremoving trash; executing merchandising moves; marketing updates; andcompleting pricing changes.)
Articulates and understandsthe difference between old and new receipts, organizes and processes themaccordingly
Executes transfers andprocesses end of season merchandise transfers, Mark Out Of Stock (MOS),Damages, repairs, Distributed Order Maintenance (DOM’s) and StyleFinderorders accurately and in a timely manner
Adheres to Loss Preventionpractices and is aware of and reports potential incidents, to ensureshortage control and to protect company assets
Participates and assists inthe preparation of the stores’ inventory
Identifies and communicatessupply needs to management
Reports to work as scheduled;records time worked accurately by using ANN INC.’s Time and Attendancesystem; remains flexible to the needs of the business
Follows all ANN INC.operational guidelines, processes, and procedures
Reviews Bulletin Boards daily
Technical Expertise:
Demonstrates a desire andability to be learner responsible and navigates the ANN INC. computerlearning systems
Is proficient in usingDistributed Order Maintenance (SOME’s) and StyleFinder to locate productfor clients and processes transactions accurately
Operates and understands hefunctions of the PDT
Navigates through allfunctions on the ISP system related to merchandise management
Operates phone, answeringcalls with an appropriate greeting, transferring and placing calls on hold
Performs registertransactions efficiently (e.g., sales, sends, returns, exchanges,payments)
Product/Brand Management:
Understands and can clearlyarticulate the Company’s brand positioning, including: the uniqueness ofall expressions of ANN INC., current marketing and promotionalinitiatives, markdowns, POS events, Bounce Back promotes, coupon events,lifestyle concepts to internal and external clients]
Embraces fashion, understandscurrent market trends and is able to articulate them using ANN INC.interpretations in every client interaction. Represents the brand byadhering to ANN INC.’s dress code guidelines

Participates in and attendsStore Meetings
Proactively uses associateeducation and product knowledge tools to initiate learning about fabric,fit and styling
Packages and wraps clientpurchases according to ANN INC. standards
Position Requirements:
Client Service: Ability tofunction as a role model, ensuring that the client remains the toppriority. Takes initiative to improve the store’s organization
Follow Directions: Ability toprioritizes and meet deadlines as assigned with minimal supervision andwithin designated timeframes
Merchandising: Knowledge ofvisual standards and techniques, and ability to implement and maintainwithin ANN INC. guidelines
Communication: Demonstrationof verbal communication skills to Store Manager, Co-Manager Sales Leads,store associates and clients
Organization: Ability tomaintain the organization fo the stockroom to include back stock ofmerchandise, supplies and shipping materials according to StandardOperating Procedures
Accuracy: Ability to handlecash and provide change without error
Ability to work a flexibleschedule to meet the needs of the business, including evening and weekendshifts. May include hours before and after store / center business hours
Physical: Ability to lift andcarry up to 20 pounds, able to climb ladders, and maneuver effectivelyaround sales floor and stock room
Educational Requirements and Experience:
Minimum Requirements: HighSchool Diploma or GED
Minimum one year stockassociate or relevant experience in the service industry with provenresults
