Key responsibilities of cashier employees include ringing up purchases at the till and assisting with stock and other customer service duties. The cashier also has the opportunity to assist with the promotion and sale of items such as; accessories, shoe care, additional items, ordering procedures, etc. Hiring managers look for personable and motivated individuals to assume cashier jobs. 

· Providing total customer service 

· Proficient AND accurate with cash handling and paperwork
